Opening a PDF manual
Most farm machinery manuals in the catalogue are PDFs. Every modern phone, tablet and computer can open one without extra software.
What to use
Phone or tablet
Files open in your built-in viewer — Files on iPhone or iPad, Drive or your browser on Android. Save it to the device so it works without signal in the field.
Windows or Mac
Your browser will open it, but for large workshop manuals a dedicated reader is faster and handles bookmarks and search properly.
Recommended reader
Adobe Acrobat Reader is free and handles very large, scanned manuals better than most browsers.
Printing
These are print-ready. Print just the pages you need for the workshop instead of the whole book.
Common problems
- "File is damaged". Usually an interrupted download. Download it again on Wi-Fi and let it finish completely before opening.
- Nothing happens when you tap it. The file is probably still downloading — check your downloads folder or notification tray.
- Search does not find words. Some older manuals are scans of paper originals, so the pages are images rather than selectable text.
Still cannot open it?
Tell us your order number, your device and the exact error message. Nine times out of ten it is an interrupted download — the file is incomplete rather than broken.
