Opening an ISO file
An ISO is a disc image — the contents of a DVD in a single file. A few large manufacturer manuals are supplied this way. You need a computer, not a phone.
The easy way: extract it
You do not have to burn anything to a disc. Treat the ISO as an archive and pull the files out:
- Windows: right-click the file and choose Mount — Windows opens it as a drive. Or extract it with 7-Zip.
- macOS: double-click the ISO and it mounts on the desktop automatically.
- Either: once it is open, look for an index, start or PDF folder inside.
Mounting or extracting an ISO is not possible on most phones and tablets. Use a Windows or Mac computer, then copy the PDFs you need onto your phone afterwards.
Still cannot open it?
Tell us your order number, your device and the exact error message. Nine times out of ten it is an interrupted download — the file is incomplete rather than broken.
